Instruments / Squall
Demonstration version · the deployed Squall is built for your environment
An assessment of judgement under time pressure.
Six short scenarios, each timed. Decide whether it is genuine, fake or manipulated, or escalate it, in the way the situation would actually require. The demonstration takes approximately five minutes.
Escalation is scored as correct
Certain scenarios are deliberately constructed to be genuinely uncertain. Guessing on these is scored as the error, not the honest response.
Confidence is assessed separately
An incorrect answer is one finding. A confidently incorrect answer is a distinct and more significant one.
No confidential information is requested
Every scenario is a fictional example. The assessment does not ask about your actual customers or claims.
Included in the demonstration
- An overall accuracy score and rating
- Areas of relative strength and weakness
- Whether overconfidence is present in your responses
- A copy you can save and circulate to your team
A demonstration, and what the deployed version does
This demonstration
Runs in your browser on what you tell it, in one short sitting. A free account lets you save your results and compare runs.
Deployed in your organisation
Builds the scenarios from your own fraud and claims patterns, runs them inside your existing training and email, scores accuracy and calibration by team, and tracks both over time.
A single run reflects one individual's judgement, not the team's. Circulate the link and compare results.

Squall: assessment result
Round by round
All scenarios are fictional. This assessment measures judgement under time pressure and does not constitute a live fraud check.
