Demonstration version · the deployed Soundings is built for your environment
Find out what AI is actually doing inside your organisation.
AI rarely turns up as a tidy, approved programme. A team has a problem and someone finds a tool. Someone else builds a shortcut because the approved system is too slow. A few months later AI is touching customer data, decisions and emails, and nobody holds the full picture.
Soundings builds that picture from what you tell it. You won't be asked to rate yourself out of ten. We work through what's running, what it touches, what happens when it's wrong, and who is watching.
A customer decision
An AI tool helps decide which customer complaints get escalated. The team calls it an internal productivity tool.
A workaround nobody sees
The approved AI platform goes down for a day. People switch to another tool that IT has never heard of, and don't switch back.
The human check
"Don't worry, a human checks everything." Nobody can show what was checked, when, or what the checker was meant to catch.
Three very different situations with the same gap underneath. Nobody can trace the path from what the AI produces to what it changes in the real world.
What you'll come away with
- Which AI is actually in use
- What it touches
- What happens if it's wrong
- Who knows it exists
- How it's watched
- Where the risk and the oversight don't match
A short demonstration, about ten minutes. It covers up to three uses of AI. Name the unofficial ones too, the map is only useful if it's honest. Please don't type in personal details about individuals, passwords or trade secrets.
A demonstration, and what the deployed version does
This demonstration
Runs in your browser on what you tell it, in one short sitting. A free account lets you save your results and compare runs.
Deployed in your organisation
Connects read-only to your finance, identity and software records to find every AI use, including the ones nobody declared. It scores each on regulation, data and reversibility, compares the result with what leadership believes, and flags new ones as they appear.

First, the organisation.
This shapes the questions. It takes a few seconds.
Your map is ready.
No account and no password. Just your work email, so we can send you a copy and get in touch if useful.
Your Soundings map
Every use we mapped
Check this map against your records
Everything above comes from what you told us. Your records show what is actually being paid for and signed into. Drop in a card or expense export, or a list of the apps connected to your single sign-on, and we'll look for AI tools in it.
Nothing is uploaded. The file is read in this browser tab and never leaves your computer. We only count matches, we don't keep or show the rows.
Where do I get a list?
Ask finance for the last 12 months of company card or expense transactions as a CSV. Ask IT for the list of apps people have signed into with company logins, and the browser extensions in use. Any of them works. Paste a plain list of names if that is all you have.
Matching is by name, so check each one. A tool in your records is not proof it is being used with company data, and a tool missing from your records may still be in use on personal accounts. The list of tools is kept up to date by hand and will miss new ones.
The detailed report
The free map shows where each use sits. The detailed report shows why, and what to do about it.
- Each use scored separately on regulation, data and reversibility
- The evidence behind every classification, in your own words
- Contradictions that came up during the interview
- Facts still unproven, and who should prove them
- An ordered action plan, with the review and approval checks each use needs
- A one-page summary you can take to the board
A full Soundings
This assessment only knows what you know. The riskiest AI in most organisations is the use nobody has mentioned to you. A full Soundings interviews your teams directly, with an amnesty agreed upfront so people are honest, and compares their answers with yours. The gaps between the two are usually the finding.
Soundings gives a structured view based only on your answers, using a fixed set of rules: the same answers always give the same result. It is not legal advice and not a formal regulatory classification. Where a fact was unknown, the map assumes the worse case and marks it provisional.
